Eligibility
The main requirements at a glance
Eligibility depends on the applicant's complete circumstances. The points below outline the general criteria considered for this pathway.
The applicant must generally be a non-EU/EEA national.
The work must be capable of being performed remotely using digital or telecommunications systems.
The applicant must have an established professional relationship with the employer or client, generally for at least three months before applying.
The employer or client company must generally have been operating for at least one year.
The applicant must usually hold a relevant degree, professional qualification or demonstrate at least three years of related professional experience.
The employer or client must permit the applicant to work remotely from Spain.
The applicant must demonstrate sufficient and stable financial means.
The applicant must meet applicable criminal-record, health-coverage and social-security requirements.
Self-employed applicants may be permitted to conduct a limited portion of their professional activity for Spanish clients, subject to current regulations.
Eligibility is assessed individually. Meeting the general criteria does not guarantee approval.

Applicants must demonstrate financial resources based on Spain's applicable minimum-wage calculation. The main applicant is generally assessed at 200% of the relevant minimum wage, with additional amounts required for accompanying family members.

Application Routes
Where can you apply?
Applying from the Philippines
Applicants may apply through the authorised Spanish consular visa process in the Philippines. After approval and entry into Spain, additional residence-card and registration steps may be required.
Applying while legally in Spain
Eligible applicants who are lawfully present in Spain may be able to apply through the applicable residence-authorisation route. The applicant's legal stay, timing and personal circumstances must be reviewed before proceeding.
Not every visitor or Schengen visa holder automatically qualifies to apply from within Spain.
Filipino Applicants
A meaningful opportunity for Filipino professionals
For Filipino remote professionals, Spain may offer more than a change of location. Filipino nationals may, in qualifying circumstances, become eligible to apply for Spanish citizenship after two years of legal and continuous residence. This is not automatic, and citizenship has separate eligibility, residence, documentation and approval requirements.

Family applications
Each additional qualifying family member: €650
The dependent fee covers the additional document review, forms, family-relationship evidence and application coordination required for that accompanying family member.
The final package recommendation and service scope will be confirmed after Nordly reviews the applicant's circumstances.
Costs not included
Unless expressly included in the signed service agreement, package prices do not include:
- Spanish government or visa-application-centre fees
- Insurance premiums
- Apostille and legalisation fees
- NBI clearance or other certificate charges
- External translation expenses beyond the agreed package scope
- Travel and accommodation costs
- Tax or social-security payments
- NIE or TIE government charges
- Professional legal, accounting or tax-advisory fees
- Courier and document-delivery costs
- Fees charged by other third-party providers
Package fees cover Nordly's professional time, preparation work, administrative assistance and agreed coordination services. Government decisions remain outside Nordly's control. Initial payments become non-refundable once Nordly has started the assessment, document review, preparation or coordination work. Any cancellation and refund conditions must follow the signed service agreement and applicable consumer law.
Where a service requires a Spanish lawyer, sworn translator, tax adviser or other regulated professional, Nordly's role is coordination with an appropriately qualified third-party professional.
